Grapes are among the oldest cultivated plants of humanity and they are the fruit of the grapevine, which is a climbing shrub. The individual fruits grow on vines and are called grapes. Table grapes do not ripen after harvesting and must therefore be harvested ready to eat. In order to increase the already good shelf life of table grapes, the fruits can be sulphurated in storage so that they can also be traded in winter.
We only offer the variety "Sultana" from the Manisa region. Sultana is the only white variety in the world that is seedless by nature. Other seedless varieties are created by artificially induced virginity. The characteristics of Sultanas are a light green to white colour with small fruit berries and very thin skins. The fruit has a firm flesh, is juicy and very sweet.
